Tons of modern style

Looking at the sea of three-row crossovers and SUVs, it's easy to get some of them confused, but that certainly isn't the case with the 2021 Hyundai Palisade. This mid-size crossover features a unique design with an imposing presence. Up front, there's the massive grille and split headlight design, and the long, squared-off roofline ensures plenty of room for passengers.

Loaded With comfort and luxury features

The 2021 Hyundai Palisade has standard seating for eight passengers. There's also an available seven-seat option with second-row captain's chairs, and this mid-size SUV features more interior volume than the full-size Nissan Armada.

New for 2021, the Palisade adds a range-topping Calligraphy trim level with exclusive interior and exterior treatments. But even in base form, this crossover delivers a smooth ride and a quiet interior. In terms of technology, the Palisade offers features that can be most often found on luxury vehicles, like the  available 12-inch digital gauge cluster and 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display.

Safety is a priority

Family vehicles are expected to be safe, and that's definitely the case with the 2021 Hyundai Palisade. This three-row family hauler earned a Five-Star overall crash rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

There's also plenty of standard and available safety content, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Avoidance, and Lane Keeping Assist. For added safety in slick road conditions, Hyundai's HTRAC all-wheel drive system is available across the entire model lineup.

Power and peace of mind

To go along with its advanced design, the 2021 Hyundai Palisade is powered by a 3.8-liter direct-injected V6 rated at 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired to a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic, and the chassis tuning has been optimized for maximum comfort with a smooth, quiet ride.

The Palisade also returns an EPA-rated estimated 22 mpg in combined driving thanks to its mid-size design. But there's still plenty of utility from this mid-sizer, as it boasts an SUV-like towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds. Best of all, the powertrain is covered by an industry-leading ten-year, 100,000-mile warranty.

Excellent Value

Hyundai's vehicle lineup has always centered on value, and that's especially true for the 2021 Hyundai Palisade. With a starting price of $32,525, the Palisade delivers big time in terms of quality, comfort, and amenities, and even the pricier models (like the $46,050 Palisade Calligraphy) offer a look and feel that's a cut above. Regardless of which trim level you choose, all-wheel drive is available for just $1,700, and will provide added confidence in slippery conditions.
