1. Car Buying Advice | 2021 Ford Edge Trim Level Guide

Ford's SUV lineup currently stands at eight different models, and positioned right in the middle is the 2021 Ford Edge. This mid-size offers up two rows of seating with room for five passengers, and it can be configured in five trim levels and two powertrain options with starting MSRP of $32,750. Front wheel drive is standard on the SE, SEL, ST-Line and Titanium versions, and all-wheel drive is standard on the sporty Edge ST and available on all other trim levels for an extra $1,995.

2021 Ford Edge SE

Positioned as the entry-level trim of the 2021 Ford Edge lineup, the Edge SE is equipped with cloth seats, LED headlights and taillights, FordPass Connect 4G LTE wi-fi hotspot and 18-inch aluminum wheels. Other than seven available colors and optional all-wheel drive, the only options for Edge SE buyers to choose from are upgraded 18-inch split-spoke wheels and a cargo accessory package.

2021 Ford Edge Titanium

For the same $38,940 price point, the Ford Edge is offered in the luxurious Titanium trim or the sporty looking ST-Line. On the outside, the Edge Titanium gets 19-inch wheels, full LED exterior lighting and a hands-free liftgate, while the interior is upgraded with leather seats, heated front seats, heated leather steering wheel, remote start, a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sounds system and laminated glass for the windshield and front side windows to further reduce cabin noise. This trim level can be made even more luxurious with available option packages like the Equipment Group 301A (adding navigation, heated and cooled front seats and adaptive cruise control) and the Elite package (adding features like perforated leather seats, a unique grille and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels).

2021 Ford Edge ST-Line

As its name suggests, the ST-Line adds the aggressive looks of the ST without the added performance. This trim level doesn't get the ST trim's more powerful engine or retuned suspension, but it does look the part with 20-inch black-painted wheels, body color bumpers and lower cladding, blacked-out grille and beltline molding and plenty of red cabin stitching. Options on this trim level are limited to the Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ Package, cargo accessory package and a towing package.

2021 Ford Edge ST

While all other versions of the 2021 Ford Edge are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged and direct-injected EcoBoost inline-four rated at 250 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque, the Edge ST upgrades to a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 that produces 335 hp and 380 lb-ft.

This sporty version of the Edge sits at the top of the lineup with a starting MSRP of $43,600, and it adds a more aggressive front grille and body kit, 20-inch wheels, bolstered front seats and door sill plates showing off the Ford Performance branding - Ford's in-house performance division is responsible for the sport-tuned suspension. Options for the Edge ST include the ST Performance Brake Package and the available Equipment Group 401A that adds heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, a panoramic sunroof and more.
