The 2020 Jeep Gladiator has been one of this year's most exciting launches. And thanks to our friends over at TheStraightPipes, now we have some great video of it out on the trail!

This footage was shot at recent event in California, where journalists where invited to put Jeep's long-awaited pickup through the paces — and it looks like it was one heck of a good time.

AutoNation Drive's own Derek Shiekhi was also at the event, and he came away impressed with Ma Mopar's new baby. Here's what he had to say about its prowess when the going gets tough:

I had plenty of grip whether I was charging down muck-filled paths or crawling up rocky inclines. The Rubicon's optional front camera also gave me peace of mind when I was about to descend a steep hill, because it enabled me to see what was two feet in front of me.

No matter where I went, the Gladiator Rubicon's 11.1 inches of ground clearance and 43.4-degree approach and 26-degree departure angles were more than enough to keep it from scraping its bumpers. Despite its long wheelbase, the Gladiator didn't drag its belly, either.

You can read Derek's full review here, and make sure to check out the video below for great footage of the Gladiator tackling trails. Of course, if you're looking to pick up a 2020 Jeep Gladiator or your own, it's time to head to your local AutoNation Jeep dealer, as these babies are in arrived in showrooms earlier this month!

So get your new rig now, and you'll be all set to hit the trail this summer!
